In our operations, hospitality and service are at the center - we are looking for someone who has the ability to understand what our visitors expect and can exceed their expectations.

The Business Department is looking for staff to work as a tourist host in the department. The work is varied, meeting visitors of all ages and having daily contact with guides, skippers, and staff in the Business Department. You will be an important person in the organization as you are the municipality's face to the outside world and coordinate the work with the tourism industry.

Your Mission

Your main tasks include providing tourist information via email, phone, and in person, as well as selling souvenirs for visitors. You will also handle bookings for individual visitors and group bookings to our tourist destinations, compile statistics from guided tours, and daily cash reports and accounts. As a tourist host, you have the honorable task of enthusiastically and inspiringly sharing Fagersta's fascinating history and other attractions and activities in the area. The work also includes other specific tasks for the operation. Working hours are scheduled.

Your Qualifications and Merits

We are looking for someone who is positive, outgoing, and flexible. You are interested in history and comfortable meeting and talking to new people. You have good language skills in Swedish. Since we also have foreign visitors, we prefer that you have good language skills in English; other languages are a merit. We place great importance on providing good hospitality and service to our visitors, so we expect you to have experience in the service industry. If you have also worked as a guide or similar before, that is a merit. You are flexible, can work independently, and are responsible. You see what needs to be done, take your own initiatives, and can handle stressful situations. Sometimes you need to be able to solve problems and make quick decisions. We place great importance on your personal qualities. You have a driver's license and access to a car.
